Unknown Hero FreeFly is a collection of more or less at random music I created for a small game I’m writing. The game is not finished yet but I hope to release it in the near future.
The game is based on The Endless Forms of Yum — a comicbook series which tells the story of an alchemist who is looking for the ultimate energy source.
In this comicbook series it is shown, that great or terrible powers can be used for good or evil (Dark Alchemy). So I decided to create my own dark alchemy, where the alchemist can choose between good and evil, and his character will have to learn to use the powers of darkness in order to triumph in the game.
The game is about a thief who wants to get revenge on the alchemist that stole from him. So he gets his hands on the forbidden and mysterious «Dark Energy» and starts playing with it.

As stated in the title I am getting the following error for the following piece of code.

I’ve searched on this issue and tried to apply all the suggestions but no luck so far.
I used useCallback with the following code.

You are returning a function from your component. When you return a function, you cannot use it as a callback.

The players are represented by a dot. The objective of the game is to click on them in order to eliminate them.

Eliminating an opponent costs 1 point. Eliminating an opponent as much as 4 times within a given period of time or the player making it in time in order to eliminate the opponent 3 times costs 4 points. Eliminating an opponent that moves out of your area costs 3 points. Each player starts the game with 1 point.

During the game, the player can collect an unlimited amount of point by clicking on other players.

The game is over when all players have been eliminated. There are several rounds. Points in the game can be earned in the following ways:

1 point is earned when eliminating the opponents.
